This is always controversial, what is the value of which project. Personally, I will hold the coin for the long term and believe that this project has a great future ahead of it. But of course I don’t have a fortune telling ball :)

ATH

I can only summarize the current state of affairs.
Currently the coins are mainly traded on Deadrare (https://deadrare.io/collection/ARTCOIN-9e4d19). But as long as the Emoon market existed, the bulk of the trades ran there. But nobody sees that now, which is a pity.

The current ATH on Deadrare is 44 EGLD
But the real ATH on Emoon was 100 EGLD

Only 3 projects have looked above 100 EGLD on Elrond so far:
- Elrond Apes : 125 EGLD
- Drifters : 120 EGLD
- Artcoins : 100 EGLD
(according to information on Deadrar as of 20.02.2022)

And yet the community is still really young, but this is how they see the value of the project.

As I follow it on Discord, quite a lot of sales have been made directly between Discord members. Also, ATHs were auctioned directly on Discord for the rarest coins and then were listed on the markets for the winning price.

Average sale price on Deadrare

It is also interesting to compare how the project holds the average sale price. Although the actual sales are not as many as for the “10,000 collections”, the value of Artcoins holds very well and is among the top in the market.

Wolume of trades

The project is currently ranked 42nd on Deadrar by volume with 285 EGLD on the marker. However, the real volume of trades executed is higher. The project was launched in December 2021 and at that time traded primarily on the now defunct Emoon marker.

According to the table above, which Karel makes, the real volume of trades as of 31.3.2022 is about 610 EGLD.

In addition, quite a lot of trades also take place directly on Dicsord p2p outside the markets.

That’s why I think this project is a bit unfairly in spot 42, as several projects above it were already selling exclusively on Deadrar, since they had mints later than Emoon disappeared. Which is a shame. But of course all projects that also sold on Emoon “suffer” from this.

Why do I trust the project?

Since it was a start-up project and the team consisted of one person, the mint was very non-standard. We placed our orders directly on Discord. Art Coiner manually verified if the coins in question were still available or already sold out. Once verified, he sent where to send the EGLD. So we sent him all the money.

And then we waited. We waited roughly 2 weeks to receive our coins. Because he didn’t have them all finalized yet. Besides, Christmas was approaching…

It was such a strange little thing, we trusted that he would deliver it as promised. Basically, he could have packed up… But he didn’t pack up and he delivered the coins in great quality.

So I just trust this project, because I already have my own experience.

Artcoiner and Gnogen DAO collaboration

A collaboration with the Gnogen DAO was hinted at on Twitter and actually publicly announced. Artcoiner is presumably handling a special coin for Gnogen. No details have been announced yet, just this video. But it looks very promising.

After that tweet, a lot of people are already expecting Artcoins to be a part of Gnogen. This is apparently gradually being resolved…

It has been “semi-publicly” announced that Artcoins will be part of the Gnogen DAO. There are no details yet and the announcement only went out in the channels to first holders of the both projects. However, this information has gradually made its way out of these channels anyway. That’s why I took the liberty to post it here. The official release is pending. It will probably come testily before ACT2.

I believe that this collaboration will help both projects and the community on Elrodn will have some awesome coin collections. But at the same time I will be happy if Artcoiner will collaborate with other interesting projects in Elrond.

The community is growing slowly because Artcoiner still says it prefers organic growth over various invites and giveaways. Which I personally like. Therefore, if you are expecting a rapid HYPE, the project is probably not for you. In addition, there is currently a downturn in the NFT.
