The Artcoins project has already offered and plans to continue to offer various benefits to holders in the future. Here I am gradually writing information gathered from Discord.
Reward coins
Artcoiner prepares surprises from time to time. For example, less than 2 weeks before mint ACT2 announced on Discord such a surprise:
Every ACT1 holder and OG is going to get a reward coin.
OG’s is a title given to the 50 first people who joined the discord. And to some who helped the project from the beginning. Holders and OG’s will receive a different coin alloy.
Reward coin is a very special coin, a reproduction of the Athenian Owl Tetradrachm, in its famous classical style. A rare and favorite among antique numismatists, it’s also one of the first coins to become a standard of its time, as a currency and as a design, with an unprecedented longevity.
These qualities, and it’s pure and simple beauty, made it a perfect choice as a first reward to every holder.
These will be distributed shortly after ACT 2 launch, in 3 alloys, so we get more details right after the mint.
Such a bonus will certainly have its value as well, although I suppose less than the “main coins from ATCs” themselves. But every such surprise is a pleasure and increases the value of the investment :)
Stacking
Coin stacking is planned for the new site.
You’ll be able to stake the coins of each collections to farm $ART token. And with $ART token you’ll be able to buy exclusive Art Coiner content, planed in future.
So you can get very exclusive coins or other things. And you possibly get to keep or sell them on the market.
This token $ART is not planned to be traded on an exchange, rather it will be an internal token for the holder reward system. So I don’t expect the ART token itself to have a sale value.
